The following is a list of events, activities, programs and local attractions will be updated on a regular basis as we receive information about the 2020 season. Check back frequently. Updated 9/23/20.
Adirondack Distance Marathon – Cancelled.
Adirondack Experience (Blue Mountain Lake) – Closed for the season.
Ausable Chasm – Open, tickets MUST by pre-purchased prior to your visit.
Circle B Ranch (Chestertown) – Horseback riding now available 7 days a week. Reservations are required for all rides, call 518-494-4888. All COVID guidelines will be implemented.
Citizen of the Year – Postponed.
DEC (State) Campgrounds - State campgrounds are open. Visit the DEC website at www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/camping.html for information and COVID-19 restrictions.
Fort Ticonderoga – Open with restrictions, outdoor venues only. Tickets MUST be pre-purchased. Be sure to check the website before you visit at https://www.fortticonderoga.org/
Fort William Henry - Open, purchase tickets in advance if possible. Check for restrictions and guidelines at https://www.fwhmuseum.com/ before you visit.
High Falls Gorge - Open Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 4pm.
Lake Champlain Ferries - Running, must remain inside car at all times. No restrooms available.
Lake George Steamboat Co. – The Mohican is sailing 2 one-hour cruises each afternoon and the Saint Sacrement is sailing the Luncheon and Dinner cruises. The Minne Ha Ha is now sailing daily one-hour cruises.
Natural Stone Bridge & Caves – Open with COVID restrictions including mandatory masks to enter. Limited tickets/hour, reservations required through purchase of online tickets (need to purchase at least a day in advance). No Adventure Tours this year.
Schroon Lake Beach - Closed for the season, swim at your own risk. Bathhouse/bathrooms will be open during daytime hours only.
Schroon Lake Golf Course – Social distancing required. One person per cart. Course restrooms are open, Clubhouse/Clubhouse restrooms are closed. Please do not remove flags. Security attendant onsite for credit/debit payments.
Schroon Lake Boat Launch & Town Docks – Open. Please be sure to inspect and clean/dry/dram your boat to stop the spread of invasive aquatic species and observe social distancing requirements.
Schroon-North Hudson Historical Museum – Closed.
The Wild Center (Tupper Lake) – Open, tickets must be pre-purchased.
